Subject: Misprinted Checks
Dear Mr. Jenkins
After receiving the free checks from your bank as you promised, I have noticed a couple of things wrong. First the account number printed on the checks is wrong, so they will be of no use to me. Second my account was charged $32.50 for checks printing.
While I was in your branch opening the account, I was very clear about why I was switching banks. My last bank made some mistakes with my account, and their customer service was lacking. I am sure that these two details will be cleared up with very little problem. The credit to my account for $32.50 will be very easy for you to fix. As for the checks, I do have bills to pay just as you do I am sure. I would appreciate it if you would have the new checks rush printed today and sent overnight to my home address.
I do understand how errors like this take place; it is the resolution that matters to me. I am very much looking forward to a long relationship with your branch of Alpharetta State Bank, and hope to be hearing from you soon. If there is anything I need to do to clear this up, you can call me daytime at 480-555-1234 or evenings at 480-555-1235.
Sincerely,
Alan Hood

Subject: Deposit Money
I received a letter today from the 9th Superior Bankruptcy Court advising me that our deposit money for the Acapulco trip has been lost due to bankruptcy proceedings filed by the Cheatem Quick bus company.
I know how much you were looking forward to this trip and am very sorry for the loss. The good news is that the trip is still five months away and if we all work together we can come up with a way to earn this money back in time for our trip. All hope is not lost. A few of the thing that have been mentioned by the group in the past have been car washes and tutoring. We all know that Cody will be a great pan handler one day, I have a large piece of cardboard, and if you have a black sharpie we could have him on the off ramp by tomorrow.
I know losing $100.00 is a total drag but I look forward to hearing the great ideas you come up with so that we can get this great trip back on track. We will implement all of your ideas to the fullest so that everyone can benefit from some fun in the sun in Acapulco.
Call me!
