I received a letter today from the 9th Superior Bankruptcy Court advising me that our deposit money for the Acapulco trip has been lost due to bankruptcy proceedings filed by the Cheatem Quick bus company.
I know how much you were looking forward to this trip and am very sorry for the loss. The good news is that the trip is still five months away and if we all work together we can come up with a way to earn this money back in time for our trip. All hope is not lost. A few of the thing that have been mentioned by the group in the past have been car washes and tutoring. We all know that Cody will be a great pan handler one day, I have a large piece of cardboard, and if you have a black sharpie we could have him on the off ramp by tomorrow.
I know losing $100.00 is a total drag but I look forward to hearing the great ideas you come up with so that we can get this great trip back on track. We will implement all of your ideas to the fullest so that everyone can benefit from some fun in the sun in Acapulco.
